2012 Short Story Collaboration for International Women’s Month

A few weeks ago, I was lucky enough to catch a tweet from a fellow writer on Twitter, Claire King, asking for volunteers to take part in a collaboration with her and several other women writers.

The idea was the brainchild of Michelle Elvy, a writer and editor based in New Zealand. She wanted to get different women writers from around the world to join in together on a piece of short fiction to celebrate International Women's Month.

So far, three of the stories have been published on Michelle's website, which also explains more about how the process worked and how the flow of each story changes every time.

Needless to say, upon seeing Claire's tweet, I jumped at the chance! I found the process fascinating and also incredibly humbling to be included in such great company.
