What’s going on…
October 22, 2009
I’ve been a busy little bee in the last few days. I have transferred both Splintered Reflections and More Sweetie from Blogger to WordPress. I am thrilled about the “cyber-move” as it allows much more functionality on both blogs and is already making my life easier. It has streamlined my work. I have now discontinued my blog entitled “Thoughtspirit/Free Thinking”, as it was suffering from a split-personality and a touch of low self-esteem. Fed up with its schizophrenic and delusional “whinings” about not being able to find its rightful “home” in cyber-space, I have cut the ties and set it free in the cyber-ethers (RIP). This blog was originally the place where I would post my poetry, discussion/debate articles; anything that didn’t seem to fit into Splintered Reflections. But now the lovely people at WordPress have allowed me to add new pages to Splintered Reflections, meaning that I can now include all of my writing here, without it detracting from my main diary/blog on the front page. Happy days!
I have also been working on this new lovely site where you now find yourselves; my hopefully-somewhat-more-professional-looking website which will serve as a main “hub” for my writing. Here you can subscribe to an RSS Feed of posts (look right) and be sent polite and timely notifications about any new writing that I post, together with helpful links, so that you don’t have to search around the web.
More Sweetie, anyone? Some of you may not know about my family blog. I started it ages ago, but recently have struggled to find the time to do it, because of all of my other “blogging commitments”. However, now I have settled this baby into the soft snuggly-ness that is WordPress, and given it a bit of a “facelift” in the form of a new logo and picture, I have a feeling that More Sweetie will be receiving more attention from me. Oh, and my kiddies contribute to it too! It could be fun…
There are two other exciting projects on the go; Magna Opera and All Gone All Finished. I will leave you dangling over these for the moment…
Phew! That’s it for now. Feeling “Zen-like” in my organisation, I am now going to make myself a triple espresso and sit back and relax. I hope nothing bad happens…
